Desert Islands Conference Centre
From late 2011 Desert Islands will offer the opportunity to host large groups and conferences with the opening of the Desert Islands Conference Centre.
Located on the North beach of Sir Bani Yas Island, adjacent to the Desert Islands Resort & Spa, the Centre will have a capacity up to 540 guests. Offering not only amazing water-front views, organisers will be able to combine events with some of the island’s unique nature-based adventure activities, including Nature & Wildlife drives, Mountain-biking adventures, Nature walks, Snorkelling and much more.
The Conference Centre will feature:
- "Dhabi" Ballroom: an impressive venue which accommodates 340 guests in banquest style seating or 560 guest in auditorium style seating
- Three meeting rooms that can be divided into six breakout rooms
- Business Centre
- State of the art audio visual equipment
- Entrance/reception lobby
- Prayer rooms
- Extensive outdoor terraces
Development of the Desert Islands Conference Centre will ensure use of environmentally smart initiatives including techniques for smart water consumption reduction, sustainable lighting and irrigation strategies, and waste management
