Monastery Tour (Archaeological site)
Ongoing archaeological excavations on the eastern side of Sir Bani Yas Island have uncovered the remains of an early Christian monastery site, which was probably founded in the late 6th century AD. This is the only early Christian site in the UAE, and is of international historical significance.
Join a guded tour and get a fascinating insight into the history of this area and the inhabitants of the region and view the artefacts unearthed so far by the archaeologists.
