Al Sahel Lodge by Anantara
Opening soon, Al Sahel lodge by Anantara offers 30 luxury villas each with private plunge pools. The development is situated in a grassy oasis in the Arabian Wildlife Park on Sir Bani Yas Island, an area favoured by many of the islands Sand Gazelles. Al Sahel will be one of the few places in the region where guests can view free roaming wildlife from their villas.
The one or two bedroom villas have been designed to blend in with the rustic savannah surroundings of the location. High thatched rooves offer an air of elegance, whilst rough rendered walls and tented structures reminiscent of Bedouin tents set the tone of the belend of Africa and Arabia that is carried through into the interiors. The lodge will be managed by the renowned Thai hospitality group Anantara. Anantara also manages the Desert Islands Resort & Spa and Al Yamm Lodge.
The lodge has been thoughtfully developed by Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) with consideration and respect to nature and the environment, using design principles that combine best practice with maximum efficiencies and minimal environmental impact.
