Your exciting scenic sea plane flight begins in the waters of Sir Bani Yas Bay. Enjoy an exhilarating water takeoff, make a curve past the iconic Sir Bani Yas wind turbine and you’re on the way for an exciting ride.
All of our pilots are highly experienced and will give you an adventure you won’t forget. Spy on the animals below as they graze in herds, spot the row of olive trees planted in the shape of an Arabic coffee pot, the traditional Arabic sign of hospitality, and fly low over the beautiful mangroves.
You will also catch sight of a few of the neighbouring Discovery Islands, in particular Ghasha, which has an old shipwreck on its shores. Then make a grand entry back on the island with a splashing water landing.
Scenic flights are not available every day and are weather dependent. Please check with the Activities Team, located at the Activities Centre, for availability.
