Our guides will point out the highlights of the underwater surroundings and help you relax and enjoy the experience, even if you’re a first-time snorkeler.
On most occasions the iconic Arabic fish, the Hammour, can be spotted along with a variety of small and colourful fish and sea urchins. It’s a beautiful and relaxing way to enjoy some fun in the sun with the whole family.
Snorkelling expeditions can be booked directly with the concierge and are included in the room rate.
Suitable for: Ages 8 and above. You must be a confident swimmer in deep water to participate in snorkelling.
Duration: 1.5 hours.
Group size: Up to 10 people may participate in this activity at one time.
What to bring: Swimsuit, towel, sandals, sunscreen, hat and waterproof camera.
Where it is: There are two snorkelling locations, the eastern beach and the bay next to the Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara. The location will be chosen by your guide depending on currents, tides and other weather conditions.
